Time flies by quickly and often we don’t realize it while getting caught in the flow of life. As we observe changes in people around us and even in ourselves over the years, it’s fascinating to notice that dogs, whose average lifespan is 12 years, also grow up with us.
Our little furry friends, who we brought into our homes, change so much over the years that we can only notice it by looking at their pictures. Photographer Amanda Jones has been working on a pleasant and emotional project for 20 years that proves this fact. By photographing the first moments when dogs reunite with their families, Jones captures their old age many years later, clearly revealing the changes over the years. We have compiled some photos showing our animal friends’ childhood and old age together for you.
